Do you feel nervous before visiting the Dentist? ​

Many patients feel self-conscious about dental treatment or are nervous about visiting the dentist. At Kings Dental we appreciate that going to the dentist can be daunting for you, especially if you have had a bad experience in the past. That is why we specifically cater for the nervous patient. We understand your fears and realise that you may have been putting off coming to see us for some time. You should also know a lot of people come in and say, “I am really scared”.

Some of the techniques we use are:

• A home-like environment that encourages a more relaxed and comfortable feeling.

• A friendly team who take their time and listen.

• Private treatment rooms.

• Expertise of dentists with more than 40 years of combined experience.

• Headphones with your choice of music or Renu – a mixture of soothing sounds that can “guide you to deep relaxation – allowing your mind and body to naturally relax, restore, and renew”.

For patients who wish to have a more “removed experience”, we offer Nitrous Oxide (“Laughing Gas”),  Oral Sedation or IV Sedation.  If you think General Anaesthetic is the best option for you, we can arrange for your treatment to be carried out in a hospital setting.

Most importantly, we take the time to make you feel comfortable so that you can relax knowing you are in excellent and caring hands.
